Agarwal Takes 3rd at the September 14-16 Mid-West JCT

PJS’s own Avi Agarwal traveled to the state of Ohio to participate in the Mid-West JCT tourney on the weekend of September 14-16.

Avi, entered the tournament as the 10th ranked player in the U15’s. Avi had great expectations for this event as he has been working extremely hard at improving his game.

Wang takes 1st place in NYC Equinox Silver Tournament

PJS’s Karen Wang stormed to victory at the Equinox Silver tournament on the weekend of November 24-26. She breezed through the draw without the loss of a single game.

King stuns by taking 2nd in Bronze BU11 Nationals

PJS’s own Daniel King took second place in the 2017 Bronze U11 Boys National this past weekend of April 28-30 at Chelsea Piers Connecticut.

Dan took out the 2nd and 4th seeds on his way to the final where he was beaten by the #1 seed from Massachusetts in straight games.

Mian wins Bronze National Title. Miraj takes 3rd

 

Maryam Mian, seeded #1 dominated the Bronze Nationals by routinely winning the Bronze Girls U13 National Squash Championships with wins over players from New Jersey and New York.

Maryam’s first round was the toughest where she outlasted her opponent in a grueling 5 game match.

Gunton Storms Ohio to Win Cleveland Gold

PJS’s own John Gunton (U13) stormed into Cleveland Ohio to take the Cleveland Gold Junior Tournament on the weekend of April 21-23.

Ive Captures Brooklyn Bronze

Sofia Ive traveled to Brooklyn on the weekend of March 3-5 to take on the Josh Squash Brooklyn Bronze tourney.

In a 3 pool Round Robin event Sofia was placed in Pool#1 with 2 other competitors. This pool posed no challenge for the veteran PJSer, winning both matches in a 3-0 convincing fashion.

PJS Team takes Street Squash Fundraiser Tourney

 

PJS put together a team of 5 players pictured below (Clay Countess, Gautam Chawla, Jackson Rho, Eli Nathan and Andrew Rebak) and took to the courts at the Street Squash Fundraiser tourney in New York.

They took first place in the event and best of all they raised $3,000.00 for the Street Squash organization.
